The dates for the next two meetings of the group are:-

Tuesday July 2nd at Barclays Bank, Knutsford.
Tuesday/Wednesday 13th – 14th November at the GSE UK National Working groups Conference at Whittlebury Hall.

Registration for the Knutsford meeting is now open on the group website http://stgman.gse.org.uk/content/content_events.php, the agenda will be published shortly.

Linux on z Performance Seminar 14th June 2012

Velocity Software is offering a free z/VM and Linux on System z Performance Seminar on 14 June 2012.

This is the same week as the zLinux User Group Meeting on the 12th June at CA Ditton Park Offices.

The full day Seminar will be hosted by Barclays Bank, who will also present Barclays experience of setting up a Linux on System z production environment.

Location: Barclays near Knutsford, Cheshire.

This class covers performance analysis, capacity planning, and tuning for z/VM, Linux on z, and distributed systems attached to z/VM.
